To help pay for travel to some recent acoustic gigs, Jack Rose put together a cd-r of some of his favorite songs and sold it out of an autoharp case. We got the last 5 copies, and made it the kickoff for the "Klang Archives" series. Titled "Hung Far Low, Portland, Oregon" (be interesting to see if anyone catches the reference) Jack's cd-r is the best-recorded collection available of his acoustic guitar finger-shaking. Most of it is outtakes and warm-ups from his recent album sessions, with a couple other odd bits thrown in. There'll be more info on the Klang Archives series soon. It's envisioned as a set of cd-rs, some available in a limited number set by the musicians, some up for grabs until we get bored and delete them from the hard drive. The next couple titles are more or less lined up -- watch this space for availability. Back
