Mikel Dimmick Spiral Joy Band: Sept. 5 show with JAKOB OLAUSSON set in Blacksburg

Go ahead and notch Wed., Sept. 5, on your time stick for a 7-10 p.m. show at the XYZ Gallery in Blacksburg to feature Jakob Olausson, the Jakob & Sus duo, and the Spiral Joy Band.

Jakob, of course, is touring under a wave of attention garnered by the Swedish-beet-farmer-turned-underground-psyc-artist story of his "Moonlight Farm" album, released by DeStijl and SubPop. We know him for his earlier Joshua Jug Band 5 music (and Five Fingers of Death, etc.). That he's playing in Blacksburg is pretty unusual and great, so don't miss it.
