Mark your calendars for the end of October, when old-timey blues guitarist/banjoist/singer Charlie Parr returns to the Southeast and works in some music with the Black Twig Pickers. (The Twigs to-be-released-someday new album has four songs with Charlie.) Right now the stars are aligned for shows in Roanoke, Blacksburg and Charlottesville. Keep an eye to the shows page for updates.
