Jack Rose: Honest Strings, an immense tribute comp
An honestly gigantic tribute comp -- six and a half hours or so of music -- dedicated to Jack goes on sale any day now (was to be out in March, but crushed the IT grid with its massive-ity). It's download only and besides the audio onslaught includes text and artwork, all assembled quickly and smoothly by Three-Lobed honcho Cory Rayborn and mastered by Patrick Klem.
Pelt, Spiral Joy Band, Black Twigs, Nathan Bowles, Charlie Parr and Tom Carter are among the contributors but there are Klang connections throughout.
